Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee shall:
1. Review
and evaluate the resources of our
membership.
2. Evaluate the talents which our members possess and make this information available
to the committees and boards of the congregation.
3. Develop ways to integrate as many members as possible into the work of the congregation.
4. Develop ways to increase the spiritual aspects of congregation activities.
5. Organize and direct the annual stewardship emphasis program.
6. Prepare information packets to be given to all new members.
7. Report activities to the Church Council and Voters’ Assembly.

Everyone can grow, everyone can benefit from our newest stewardship invitation, called Simply Giving.
It is a simple and safe, and faith deepening option for giving through automated funds transfer.
We hope that each person or family would consider participating in this creative and convenient method of giving.
The Simply Giving program was conceived and is supported through Thrivent Financial (formerly Lutheran Brotherhood).
Our Church Council authorized its use here at First Lutheran for those who would like to use it.
With this program in place you would not need to write a check each week for the offering
or if you are on vacation, your tithe would automatically go to the Church while you are away.
